Feedback trainings make it possible to conduct surveys within a course. Feedback trainings are optional for the employees and do not affect the progress of the course.
Adding a feedback training
Feedback trainings can be added from the course version’s detail view. When adding a new course, you can add feedback trainings in the initial version step.
- Enter the name of the training
- (Optional) enter the training’s picture
- Choose Feedback as the training’s type
- (Optional) add a description for the training
- Choose the form that you wish to attach to the training. You can attach Survey forms to feedback trainings.
- Enter the feedback title
- (Optional) enter the feedback introduction text
- (Optional) enter the duration of the training
- (Optional) click Save training to save the changes
- The difference between the Save training and Save course buttons: the Save training button is for when you wish to save the changes before the course is finalized (e.g., before having added all the trainings). The Save course button is the final save and the last step of creating the course
Conducting courses with feedback trainings
You can plan courses that have feedback trainings the same way as you plan any course – by using occurrences.
You can set the feedback training’s deadline in the Schedule view of the occurrence. The feedback training becomes accessible to the employees after you publish the occurrence, and is open until the training’s deadline. If the order of trainings is fixed, then the feedback becomes available for the employee after they have completed all previous mandatory trainings.
After you publish the occurrence, the system creates a survey group for the feedback training, where you can see the employees’ submissions (more information). The system names the survey group after the feedback’s name.
The name of the course is displayed in the surveys’ list view for survey groups that have been created for feedback trainings. When hovering over the course name, you can also view the name of the training and occurrence.
